Global Village - A Colorful Evening

The Global Village, which was organized by the AIESEC in Colombo South took place on the 23rd of March at the Sentra Court premises at University of Moratuwa.
The event featured 10 EPs representing 7 different nationalities namely Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Portugal and Germany.
The event show cased the EPs doing presentations and showing videos about their countries which gave the participants a good understanding about their traditions. 
The dance done by the Feel Lanka EPs and the Russian song which was performed by Anestasia were the highlights of the event.
Everyone who attended the event got their chance to taste traditional food from across the world and they were mouth-watering indeed. 










Then began the most awaited moment of the evening, the JIVES, which caught everyone’s eye. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and everyone seemed to have learned a lot of dance steps at the end of the day.
All in all it should be stated that this fun filled event was a success.
